The Main Program

Normal training is for those desiring to be certified in their work environment and seek to be recognized for their work in Applied Ethics. Costs and training schedules are listed below and on other pages on this site.

Professional Practitioners

This special program is for the practicing applied ethics professional, one possessed of considerable experience and expertise in the field already. They will have demonstrated through verifiable experience in their community and in the workplace the current proficiency in training in applied ethics applications.

Professional practicioners and those trainers seeking to become and accepted as CEFE FELLOWS are eligible to participate in the the total immersion program of 10 weeks. This intense study condenses and accelerates the normal traditional 10 month program. This is only available to those who apply for and are accepted into the CEFE Fellowship Program or are professional practitioners of applied ethics. CEFE Fellows are expected to devote their time and energy to developing applied ethics programs on a pro-bono basis in their communities and in their environment. Applied Ethics Certification Has Four Progressive Levels

The Initial level: Grounding in institutional contemporary ethics beliefs and practices
The Intermediate level: Iinnovations, applications, what works, what doesn't, and being able to know the difference
The Advanced level: Application of character and ethics programs, nuances, struggles, implementation, and development of new or refurbishing of old programs that no longer work.
The Experimental level: Trying out new ideas, adapting new strategies, researching new methodologies, and planning for the future

CAE Training

Candidates who choose to undertake the Applied Ethics Certification program online do so with the knowledge that the program is intense and requires of the candidate a dedication of time and study to complete the program.

Each candidate has the opportunity to undertake the program from anywhere in the world where access to the Internet is possible. The program is designed to be rigorous and to ensure exceptional ethics training for CAE candidates.

A CAE professional recognition is reserved for those who have successfully completed and graduated from the certification program. The designation demonstrates an individual is certified to teach and to engage in the professional development of applied ethics training and organization ethics and character development programs. All graduates of the certification program are awarded membership in the Applied Ethics Institute.
